Wow! I really wish I know how to make a hammock! It's very wonderful to see how he did it. Wish younger generations these days would gain some knowledge from elders like him & get to learn to do things naturally, so that traditions like these would continue into the future for our children.

Hi Anna. The translations were done live while we filmed with Mr. Choco. His daughter translated from K'ekchi into Spanish (she could not speak English) and then her husband translated from Spanish to English. The subtitles are verbatim of the live translation we got during filming.

the captions weren't actually correct. The person in charge of the captions should retranslate his statement. He was being funn and sweet in the video but it was missed by the awful translation

Demasiado tarde para eso si es que algun dia fue de Guatemala, pero no hay que polemizar mejor vivamos en paz con ellos. Soy Guatemalteco resido en USA desde hace mas de 30 años y visite belize el año pasado y me parecio un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. me di cuenta que para ellos Guatemala ni en cuenta ellos tienen sus propias costumbres y la cultura maya es igual a la de Guatemala pero su idioma oficial es ingles te hace sentir que es muy diferente a Guatemala. Considero que es mejor llevarse bien con ellos lo que haya pasado en la historia no es culpa de ellos y tampoco de nosotros pero si me parecio muy interesante!
