The Mazda CX-30 Carbon Edition Is WAY Better Than I Expected

Wow thank you all for watching I really like the carbon edition trims of Mazdas. Honestly this didn’t have nappa leather just normal leather but it felt high quality make sure you use meguiars leather cleaner (not an ad maybe I should delete this free promotion) use the cleaner on your seats or they will crack and dry out Mazdas leather tends to do that I’ve noticed. But overall this is a great car if I was going to get a new car under 30k it’d Probably be a forte GT, Mazda 3 or CX30 carbon edition.

Avoid the locking area at the handle so you can open the door it's a capacitive touch it gets triggered easily.

I bought a 2022 CX-30 Carbon Edition almost a year ago now. Haven't found any build-quality issues or experienced any problems whatsoever thus far. My only complaint with the CX-30 (especially the Carbon Edition) is that the front/side chrome trim & silver roof rails should have been blacked out also, & the exposed lower front intake should have a mesh cover similar to the upper larger grill. I fixed all of that myself via some aftermarket modifications, as well as blacking out the entire roof, a portion of the hood & the recessed triangular area of hatch where license mounts. Does wonders for making that thick black plastic cladding & bumper look a lot better integrated with the design of the vehicle, instead of like a cheap, sore-thumb, bolted on afterthought. Also, do yourself a favor & get your new vehicle a professional, multi-layer "lifetime" ceramic coat, & get the proper film put on the headlights to 100% prevent the plastic housing from hazing & pitting from UV, road salts & such. Love my CX-30 better than anything else in this class, especially after my lousy 2020 model year Toyota experience.

I wouldn't pay extra for a Carbon Edition. I'd like this in a base model with a 6 speed standard shift...which is probably no longer offered.
