The MAZDA CX8 AWD is a near-perfect MID-SIZED CROSSOVER!!

The Mazda CX8 AWD is a midsize crossover that slots between the Mazda CX5 and the Mazda CX9. It's the flagship crossover in Japan, where the 2020 Mazda CX-9 is not being offered. The 2020 Mazda CX 8 is slimmer than both the 2021 CX5 and the 2021 Mazda CX9, which makes it easier to drive around tight roads. The top-spec Mazda CX8 Exclusive comes with 6 seats, giving a more premium passenger experience. The lower variant CX8 Signature can seat seven. In this Filipino car review, I borrowed the CX8 Exclusive for a week to see how it fits my lifestyle. It's the best driving crossover for the price, and also the best passenger experience. It is as plush as a Toyota Alphard, but has a smaller cabin space. Despite the arrival of more affordable Chinese crossovers, the Mazda CX-8 offers a drive experience that is a class above.

Im a big fan of mazda. I never thought my husband would buy cx8 for my birthday since here in davao it ranges 2.390m . Im the happiest wife on earth now my plate is OOK.😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ 6 years ago he gave me mazda 3 also for my birthday. I dont think cx8 is a crossover. Cx30 is since it’s based on the mazda 3 or a cx3 which is based on a mazda 2.

@@ReygansRides What also puzzles me is that here in the Philippines, the cx8 is considered a crossover when it is actually big. In other countries it's already mid-size suv. Or a large suv in other SEA countries.

The terms SUV and Crossover are used interchangeably nowadays, its just semantics. For me, an SUV is based on a truck chassis, for the utility purpose. Crossovers for me are those with a unibody construction. Then there's the Crossover-SUVs, and the SAVs etc.

@@ReygansRides With all due respect, Reygan, you are confusing people here. Crossovers are based on car platforms. Just made my "research" about the cx8. It's the flagship Mazda SUV in Japan. Yes this is what you call a unibody. SUVs yes can also be a unibody but most of the common SUVs here are PPVs. I won't interchange them actually. Regardless, still a great content. I wish I can afford a Cx8 lol.
