When I hear this song, I feel about the emotion of Thomas character on the Maze. So emotion deep inside listeners. I watched 3,4 even 5 time. Every time I watch again, I really like and miss the Glades & Greenie especially "Shank" word came from Gally :) I had cried alot through the movie scenes, especially Thomas pass through the narrow of the maze's door to rescue the Minho & Alby. Thats moment I feel tear drop on my face and respect the brave of him. I hope the next movie will be successful and many huge thaks to actors and director who give lots of qualities of this Trials movie series. From : Vietnam fans

I don’t know what it is about this song but I loved it when it came out and I still love it now bc I feel out of control a lot, my life isn’t the most stable and sometimes it all feels like too much and I feel like I can’t move and I’m dying and I’m lying in bed and I put this song on and crank the volume and I can breathe again when the piano washes over me and I can sleep again when I hear your voice so even if you don’t ever read this, I just wanted to say thank you so so so so much from the bottom of my heart bc this song literally saved my life on more than one occasion and has helped me through all of my recovery to becoming the person I am today

Such a gorgeous song. Truly expresses a certain kind of sadness that for me resonates with my own past feelings of intense melancholic depression. There is no celebration in the knowledge that this misery will not break me, rather it is a sober fact. The song really paints the feeling of the intense burning that sadness can bring but it's sung in such a way that it evokes the simultaneous emptiness such feelings leave us with. But there is still hope in the love and strength we share, and when the darkness does come, we can get through it. I love this song.

It's already more than a year since WHEN THE DARKNESS COMES publication. I hadn't noticed but I most say it's all been a great adventure through the series. These beautiful song takes the whole message and deepness of one beautiful story: THE MAZE RUNNER. THANK YOU A LOT dear Shelby. You've brought to life all of this feelings. It still feels like the first time I heard it(which was about 2 months after the real publication but whatsoever). I was saying yes it's a whole year of many thing the 250 problematic, sleepless and sadly blue dark nights. But the maze runner lives forever in the deepest part of our heart where the real meaning of everything in life is.
