Follow the MCC1005 along this scenic canal, manoeuvring through tight pathways and along the water to replace an old bridge.
This job came with the challenge of needing a machine that could track through muddy, uneven paths and over steep slopes. Despite its large size, the MCC1005 can travel smoothly through rough terrain with its 25˚ gradeability and wide tracks, allowing ultimate mobility along the canal path.
In addition to the challenging conditions, the location meant the lift required a crane that could lift and manoeuvre the 1.5-tonne bridge at a 10-metre radius. With a 10-tonne capacity, the MCC1005 used a 17.3-metre max boom length for the lift, the max SWL being 2150kg, which allowed our machine to safely remove and install the bridges with ease.
