I think the Pandemic and C Boseman dying threw a big wrench into their storylines 🤔

Captain Marvels arc was: she starts the movie being great and by the end everyone else realises she's great. Carol was a fantastic character in the Comics as Ms Marvel (and Binary) but this iteration is terrible, and sorry but The Marvels is an awful movie, apart from Iman Velani who is the only hi-light. Brie, despite the self inflicted controversy, is a good actress but just doesn't have the charisma necessary to be a lead in a superhero movie. Sam as Cap is a failure in the comics and whilst that meant they had a hill to climb, it could work in the MCU. Unfortunately The Falcon and the Winter Soldier annihilated his character and now they have a mountain to climb instead. Steve jumped on a grenade and stood alone in front of an army, he inspired people to be better, Sam is a terrorist apologist and told the people that the terrorist just tried to kill, to "do Better". Sam has to have a significant hero moment as Cap, but I'm not sure MCU writers understand those anymore. I loved Elizabeth Olsen's portrayal of Wanda, Scarlet Witch was always one of my favourite Marvel characters, but episode 6 on of WandaVision dropped off a cliff, also damaging Monica Rambeau's character - hence my comment about the ability of the writers. And I know Wanda goes full evil in the comics (a few times lol) but it was badly handled in MoM. Personally, I think Natasha had one of the best character arcs in the MCU, second only to Tony. I just don't think it's as recognised because she was kind of an after thought at the end of Endgame and the Black Widow movie did her no favours. I'm also with you, I'd love to see an Isiah Bradley series or movie (I think he comes after Cap in the MCU rather than before?). For me, he and Walker were far more interesting, and better written than Sam and Bucky in TFATWS.
