Here's what's going to save MCU and I learned this from Double Toasted, Fantastic Four, Dr. Doom, X-Men, and another popular idea, recasting T'Challa and giving him his own stand-alone trilogy that is seperate from the MCU, new cast and everything.

Here’s the thing I agree that the x-men should be the focus but at the same time I can’t see Disney passing up the opportunity of doing avengers vs x-men. So if the soft reboot theory is true than this is my prediction. Phase 7 is mainly about wolverine movie and x-men movie but u will still have a Spider-Man movie, hulk movie, fantastic 4, and a reboots avengers recasted movie. So here’s my out line. Phase 7 Spider-Man, wolverine, hulk, fantastic 4, avengers, x-men, black panther, x-men sequel. 8 movies per phase with 2 movies per year. 6-8 movies in the spam of 3-5 years is the sweet spot. Eventually after the x-men gets at least 2 movies and avengers get 2 u will get an avengers vs x-men in phase 10 or something. Also everything that i outlined is based off logical thinking. Spider-Man is owned by Sony and is the most popular marvel hero, so ur gonna get Spider-Man movies regardless. Disney payed for the right of hulk from universal so it doesn’t make sense not to make hulk movies and he’s arguably the 2nd or 3rd most popular marvel hero. Fantastic 4 movies ur getting simply due to how important they are along with the fact that Disney payed billions for the rights. Wolverine and the x-men the next big thing. Avengers with cap, iron, and Thor being the main 3 characters and once again an avengers vs x-men movies is a possibility so def an avengers movie before that. Finally Black panther movie for the sake of representation and trying to recapture that cultural moment that the first black panther movie made.

The correct play for Marvel is to move toward the Beyonders. They will have to introduce The Fantastic Four, re-cast T'Challa and tell multiple foundational stories in order to get there. It'll take about another 10-15 years to unpack it all, which is what they want to do anyway.

With the X-men one of the biggest superheroes teams of all time mixed in with the fantastic 4 and spider man they could in my opinion surpass what they were. He is not a variant because he is back in his own original timeline. There is plot hole as to how he got there. They should have seen him come up to the bench and sit down (at the end of Endgame) or he should been there when they got there. That said no one is talking about it because talking about he multiverse makes everyone's head hurt. Multiverse is the worst way to explain time travel. The mulligan approach (Think CW Flash and its explanation about fixing the broken glass) is a much better way to handle it.

Captain America of universe 199999 went to an earlier time in universe 199999, presumably to marry and share lives with Peggy Carter. During his marriage to Peggy he would have been in 2 places at one time. He lived his life through in that timeline without changing its history, thus causing no branch timelines, until he aged up to the moment he left. There are still unanswered questions because Marvel has not tightened up its rules of time travel. Time travel always creates paradoxes and problems, but the multiverse approach is worse than just giving the time traveler a mulligan.

I don't think the X-Men are the right play. The X-Men are a giant metaphor for apartheid and racism. I don't want them mixing with the general Marvel Cinematic Universe. I don't think that a message focusing on apartheid plays well to today's market at large, at least not on the scale of the Endgame Saga. Also, I think the X-Men has already played it's biggest cards. The Phoenix Force has come around twice and the Apocalypse has come around as well.

@@JodysCorner - To make good story you need a good, credible struggle. In order to create a good struggle, you need a good villain. It can be a villain organization or even a struggle of personal development by the protagonist(s), however we are talking about superhero action movies. Superheroes need bad guys they can defeat with their powers. The Endgame Saga was so good because: 1) It had clear patriarchs. Captain America and Iron Man for the heroes, Thanos for the villains. 2) It had clear a villain. Everybody knew Thanos was waiting at the end of all of it to kill half of everybody. Now they don't have any of that. Every story is aimless and meaningless.

The avengers had their time to shine and become one of the biggest franchises of all time but it’s time to move on.
