Bro… I say this every time you release a video: I dunno how you don’t have millions of followers. Well done brother. As usual, on point with the message & how to fix the problem. Hopefully, Fiege listens. 70 percent of the movie viewing audience is male. The studio breaks its most basic rule, "give the audience what they want" and the box office will be good. Well-written stories with solid stories and good characterization with characters that have a growth arch. Marvel is missing the boat on this method of making great movies. Keep males (and females) as the central characters. women come out to support all female-focused superhero movies in theaters. Some women interviewed say they would rather watch Thor movies. This is great content. WoW Pre MCU Iron Man hadn't been popular since the 70's he had basically become a C-tier character. RDJ and JF basically catapulted him into the S-tier. The first Guardians movie bumped them up to a lesser extent. The truth is other than the female X-Men/Brotherhood members, Black-Cat, and She-Hulk all of the Marvel female characters are supporting players at best but mostly just hot 1 Claps This is the perfect articulation of what the problem is in media rn Wait Spiderman can fly?! lol Agreed. "She-Hulk" should've been Especially if they went with the John Byrne run! She actually wanted to be a superhero, but The Thing came back and she was off of the Fantastic 4 and had to go back to being an attorney to pay the bills. The comic made fun of tropes and even had a bit of fun at the fanboys' expense! The Omnibus really was a good time! At least I have that. Girl power hasn't hurt the comic books over the decades. Sales of the various series change with interest. The problem you're identifying is merely an interest in the KZbinr zeitgeist and the audience to whom it panders. The KZbinr community has become the modern incarnation of tabloid newspapers. Just like The National Inquiry of the 20th Century used to put out absurd exposés, there was a tabloid audience that consumed it. They know or most are part of the issue. If not they can't speak out in fear of being fired, Kevin Fiege. The problem with the pendulum analogy is that, ideologically, it's never allowed to swing right. Ever. Imagine watching comic films, looking for left and/or right. You got CNN and Fox News for that 😂😂😂

Keep males (and females) as the central characters. Not enough women come out to support all female focused superhero movies in theaters. Some women interviewed say they would rather watch a hunky Thor movie.

2:43 We cheered for Iron Man & black widow equally? Bro, you lost Me there. Those two characters aren't even in the same League. Which do You think the Audience felt more, Tony Stark dying or black widow?

For god sakes Mary Jane and Aunt May are more well known than any of "The Marvels".

1st of all the dark knight came out about the same time as iron man 1 but also, its not gender politics that's the problem. Its how much they are rushing because of the success of infinity war and endgame. She hulk looks arigant because of the rushed backstory, Ms marvel had no interesting stuff at all but they had to set up the marvels and thor love and thunder tried to do the ant-man thing where they make a fun story but it was just too cheesy because they didn't want to fill it with darker stuff that would of taken longer. It's the star wars problem where Disney shits out too much and butchers the story, the female charecters that they are trying to introduce are just ruched so they try to skip all the charecter development that the other heros had that just so happened to be male

Lots of good points, but it seems to be undercut by the “genuine, social consciousness” thought at the end

LMFAO Wow... The pendulum analogy. Like, he's arguing that politics swing back and forth like a pendulum? Not only is that cliche as fuck and very unimaginative... it's dead fucking wrong. Art always fights against the oppression of the time. It's not the lefts fault that the right keeps championing oppression over the rights of an individual. But no, it isn't that it "isn't allowed to swing right." It's that when the right tries to make movies, they can't help but make blatant propaganda. Because they don't care about making art, they just care about making fun of the left. And that blatant propaganda is always punching down, because the right doesn't have any ideology anymore beyond, "punch down on the people that disagree with me, and never up at the people causing problems to begin with." You think wokeness is all that politics are. But it isn't even politics. The existence of women is not a political statement. You see politics, because you think the culture war that you've been propagandized into is politics. It isn't. Politics is the discussion of policy. And, to be clear, the only reason there's a culture war at all is because anytime we try to treat women and minorities as equals, you all complain about how we're giving them priority over and replacing white men. Anytime we try to treat women and minorities as equals, you call it an agenda. And at this point you just can't deny that that's bigotry, plain and simple.

@@ColorOfExcellence If you're not aware by now how politicized the entertainment world has become, I don't know what to tell you. It was just an observation anyway. If you like Christian music, bully for you, but I don't. And like most people, I don't like being manipulated or proselytized in any capacity or direction. As you said, we have news stations for that, supposedly.

Conspiracy theory nonsense. Echo chamber bullshit. "Everyone secretly agrees with me, but the PC mob has them subdued." Or maybe your ideas are bullshit that no one agrees with in the first place?
