I remember when I was 7 yrs old Compton pd narcotics came to are House and arrested my father. And they took him in and pull up all 10 weed plants out the ground. So My dad and the plants were at the station. A week later dad went to Court and the judge dismissed the charges because the Compton pd narcotics lost the evidence.

A Compton PD documentary would be unbelievable... You guys need to start getting together and contacting producers and documentary film makers.

A Compton Cop It seems like the fist fights turned to gun fights as the crack cocaine came into play

You're right, but guns were always available. Easier then people thought.

@Hate2 B U everyone has a opinion, yours is not based in fact. gene deal is a retired probation officer who has a exemplary record for being honest and above board, don't hate on someone without the facts or bash the character without knowing who you are talking about sir. if you had any knowlege of the cannons of law enforcement, or any of the p.o.s.t. standards you would know the difference between a good cop, and a crooked cop.

Top much political interference- when you had Omar Gangster Bradley rubbing shoulders with the gangbangers and that councilman named " Patricia" involved in embezzlement and interference with police, the police dept was thoroughly compromised. What happened to Compton back then has literally happened to every Southern CA police agency today. I interviewed with then Chief Hourie Taylor and he felt I " wasn't ready for compton" - that actually helped me go to a larger LA County agency and have a great career. Unless you saw it yourself ( my family loved off Bullis) you couldn't and wouldn't believe what went down in the City! In 2000 I was at acompton Station with Sheriff Deputy friends- they found a near pristine 1960s patrol vehicle ( painted white with all its original equipment) in a storage building near the fuel tanks- the vehicle was literally buried under piles of old case files and copies of reports thay were never completed or thrown out) Today LASD still operates out of the Compton PD station , and it's even more worn out and decrepit than when Compton PD disbanded....

Why u guys set the gang office on fire before the sheriff's took over 😂 u guys burned all the gang files and pictures 😂 I remember there was a wall dedicated to all the cpt crips and wall for all the pirus and the rest was all the Mexican gangs. I was a kid at that time like 96 I was 17 at the time
