For most of my life I lived in an area where when winter came it was cold and there was snow and we did quiet down. And this is a pattern that my body, mind and spirit are used to. For the past four years I have lived in the desert southwest where when winter comes we become more active-quite the opposite from the pattern that has existed for most of my life. I keep feeling a pull to move back to colder climates, where seasons actually take place. I have been back and forth on this decision so often that it’s really affected me and not in a good way. When I was listening to you talk about the slowing down and quiet of winter, it dawned on me that I am living quite the opposite. It was just an aha moment for me and helps explain the deep sadness I am feeling and have been feeling since this life change. Now, I have to figure out what to do about that. Thank you, Asia, your words are always so enlightening and helpful for me!

Hi Asia, I always love watching all of your videos, especially this one which resonates with me because of a vivid dream I had this morning. I dreamt that there was a huge fire and I was trying to create a wall to prevent the fire from spreading farther, but when I awoke, I imagined myself allowing that fire to burn and I found myself surrounded by the ashes, imagining all the seeds buried beneath the ground and beginning to emerge all at once. This dream and thoughts come two days prior to the year anniversary of my grandmothers passing. Hearing you repeat similar concepts about burial mounds and the otherworld was really powerful for me. Thank you for always sharing your beautiful feelings and words.

what a pleasant surprise to find this waiting and a splendid way to enjoy a late afternoon bowl of sweet potato & Ancho soup. This time seems so a time to allow the senses to linger, to truly feel the earth to our depths, embrace the aroma's, drift into the colors, realize the leaves are talking, to wrap warm and travel into another world.
