LOL! It's not a boxspring at all. ;-) It's a mattress composed of three separate pieces that all zipper together to make one giant mattress. This allows for easy assembly, much cheaper shipping, and by flipping any of the three pieces you can change how the mattress feels. A boxspring is a solid wood box with a torsion module. This is NOT that.
