I’m surprised you didn’t cover the DaVinci Greensmart with holographic technology. I don’t own one but did see it in person. It is pricey but in my view it looks spectacular and more realistic than all of these - the NetZero is close. I can’t speak to the DaVinci quality and durability but it looks great! Are you planning any review on it?

I appreciate your in depth reviews on the evolvement of the electric fireplace field. I'm just wondering that since my Samsung Frame TV has channels for different fire scenes using the same or similar technology, minus the sensory feel of a fireplace, why should I make the investment? With fireplaces using basically the same technology as my TV they are almost becoming one and the same.

You can adjust the air shutters on the burners, as well as the exhaust damper. And you can screw it up if you don't know what you're doing. There are safety and sooting concerns. Do yourself a favor and call your dealer, they'll fix it up right, and safe.

Wish I lived closer to you guys so I could get one honest opinion to purchase an electric fireplace. Live in Ontario Canada, you talk about Napoleon, been to the factory in Barrie and was told by the manager that to keep competitive in the market, they had to go to China also. Only their higher models are made in Canada. Some info for you.

The flame from the NetZero just makes everything else, including the Orion, look so fake. It's not even close. I'm surprised you felt the Orion was superior, maybe it's something that needs to be seen in person?

In terms of realism I would rank them as DaVinci Greensmart (not reviewed in this video), NetZero Eone, then Orion Multi. I don’t own any of these but have seen them in person.

Napolean cheaped out on the panel display. Just like TV's, the black is not black (instead grey) and the panel separation is just terrible. it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I bought the Luminex. It has 3 levels of brightness. It is displayed here at full brightness. If you reduce the brightness, you basically eliminate this issue.
