The Melancholy of Prospero - The lost British Satellite

There is a small exclusive club of countries that have achieved independent space flight, and only one of these to have done it after the project was already cancelled.
This is the tale of Prospero, her triumph over adversity to become the only independently launched satellite of the British space Programme. Only to be abandoned, cold and alone in an uncaring sky. So at least for today, we will take the time to remember her.
