Wow a give away for Canadians only for once 😂. Here in northern Alberta I'm checking my garden spaces every day as the snow melts watching for the first signs of perennial growth, starting with the Siberian Squill in my front beds.

I know the feeling Spring brings me and I am so glad to hear you are feeling that pep in your step too. I am as far south as you can go in Ontario and we really didn't get much snow this year a very strange mild winter. Thank you for the chance to win a pair of boots :) Peace and Love xo

I love your greenhouse! ❤ I, too, had a difficult winter with a serious back injury: very slow to heal. My first Spring here. I love the blue sky! ❤ I moved from Vancouver Island to east of Edmonton, so I have a lot to relearn about gardening. Yours is the best channel I've found; your advice is so real and very helpful. Sweet baby, too.❤

Hi from Mayerthorpe, Alberta. Spring has arrived here and there is only a small amount of snow left in my yard. Of course mud has replaced the snow so winning some new boots would be awesome. I always push the time to get an early start in the garden and boots are definitely needed for early gardening. Planted my sweet peas outside the south side of my shed today! Love your Canadian zone 3 channel!

Julia's so cute! In the Greenhouse she's like, oh mama that sun is so bright!! Completely understand! Our last snow was the mass dump of 12 inches of heavy wet snow. I live in a court.. and our property has the longest curb space..so the big snow pile goes in our yard.. parking area..after record highs the past 3 days the huge pile is down to about 3 feet! Bummer I am in the states.. need boots, renting a community garden lot this year and it's going to be a bit muddy to start.. Have A Great Day!

It snowed yesterday! I feel your excitement for spring so much! Every year is so exciting in central BC at this time... so many possibilities. I just found your channel, thank you for all of your posts, I have some binge watching to catch up with you!...and a boot contest? amazing! So here goes, Every spring as the snow melts the first thing I think about is "when can I put my plants in the greenhouse?" My living room is full of lights and plants waiting to go out...I might start a bit soon every year but like you said, if something goes wrong, theres some time to replant. Thanks again!

From PEI so slightly different zone, but I learn so much from you! I started with container gardening 4 years ago, 3 years ago - more containers and started a garden out at my mom's, 2 years ago - MORE containers and a 2nd garden at my moms and last year I REALLY got into flowers! Planted Tulips, Double Tulips, Allium and corcus' for the first time last fall and they are starting to peek through!! Love the boots and as someone with wide feet and calves also have a hard time finding ones to fit so glad to know they DO exist!

In late Winter / early Spring I shoveled my way to my raised bed and put up a hoop and plastic cover over it and my strawberries are greening up and the soil is thawed at least 6-8 inches! Definitely going to do that every year to get an early planting of ranunculus and anemones. It would be so nice to have a pair of your boots to make the treck in the mush when things are melting. Best wishes, Dorothy

Hello Kirsten! We have so much in common as my backyard looks the same here in Mundare, AB. I am really looking forward to spring this year because we have had a long stretch of cold weather and snow, daytime temperatures under 10C and -11C at night. A pair of Grubs boots would be soooooo handy in our wet Vancouver Island climate. We live on a slope so when I am out working on the flower beds, and walk up to the front of the property I am sometimes walking up a mini temporary creek. I've been wearing duck shoes but they can be really slippery and don't go up the ankle or calf. I'd be more than happy to feature the Grubs boots on my videos if I won the pair! Our snow is gone and the first tulip bloomed today. Tomorrow we are getting the flower wagon out of moth balls to take up to the road and start selling tulip and daf pots as well as Camellia bouquets.
