With the sad passing of Cush the venerable protest song tradition took a very large hit.

A tale from the perspective of a striking miner of how his girlfriend dumped him for a bloke with better prospects. Namely a policeman. As a coppers son, whose dad as spat on, just like to tell you, I enjoyed the song, And the overtime payments.

Late by a good few years with this reply, but the narrator of the song got the girl, not the copper. Was your dad as good with evidence as you?
