Rodger Linn gets respect for his company creation of the MPC. Marco Alpert gets respect for making it more affordable. WTF did Andy Mac do, besides sell the same MPC workstation, in different price ranges??? No one can tell me that there is an essential difference from MPC One and MPC X SE. F&&& the extra i/o, ram, plugins, screen size....MPC One does and sound the same, regardless.

The men you mentioned were actual developers of the MPC. Andy is just the product ambassador- he has no or very little say in the development...he's the "frontman". Behind EVERY product ( ie, aband, group, MPC, SP404..etc) there needs to be a charismatic person that connects to the public and can sell water to a well...today, that is Andy.

Freakin MPC users are becoming YT gangs beefing over MPC “colors”!! 😂😂😂 EveryBODY said the MPC wasn’t worth it and it seems only one has stuck to his guns and hasn’t backtracked on it when the “Akai-the Man”, Mack probably sent a letter or DM to influencers… within hours so many have put out why the MPC is worth it back track let me explain why it’s you might want to get it. Some are evening taking ownership “we influencers” have created a false hype (please Akai continue to send me stuff)… this is some clown ass shit! It’s equipment and Akai did what Apple does every year and y’all ack’n like Them Apple fanbois… but I’m watching. Hopefully Comedy Hype will spotlight this comedic troupe.

One thing you left out… The Japanese who Originally Made 90% of all HipHop gear in the Beginning the last MPC Made in Japan was the 3K it was built like a tank and my MPC Live after a Year the Paint has Faded and Now it has Sticky Primer… TheChinese don’t care about Quality😢😢😢

I don’t get the bashing. Fender makes all different levels of there instruments and so does akai. If you want the vintage color go get a flipping vintage and if you want the x or se to sound better get outboard gear. You don’t see Grammy wining musicians bitching about the sound of the new fenders or whatever it is. They go buy the vintage and get whatever they want for recording. They don’t play out with the vintage they use the newest stuff given to them. Same with the x or se. Nobody is touring with a vintage mpc. They only use em in the studio. If people make music and are happy that’s all that matters. The way KZbin compresses audio and the Bluetooth speakers the average person listens to the songs on isn’t going to care that this beat would be better on a higher end converter. They are listening to the song. I’ve heard a lot of bad songs run thru amazing gear and great songs made with crap.
