A time long past. Have we learned much since? Why can’t we all just get along? Why is our political process infected with a infection called greed? Why is our population infected with hate ? When can man learn to forgive? Please ponder our humanity.

i wonder who panned the camera up when they took off from the moon?
@tgstudio85
@tgstudio85 2 жыл бұрын
Camera was on rover, and was remotely controlled from Huston. Two commands were given, to start ascend motor, and to start motor for panning. They tried to do that recordings in earlier missions, but failed to synchronize it, thus out of view recordings of AM. Only last mission was successful.

The reason there are hardly any photo’s of Neil Armstrong walking on the Moon is that his co-pilot “Lunar Module pilot” Buzz Aldrin didn’t take them. When NASA developed the film and saw what Buzz had “NOT” done they were stunned. He had no good answers for not thinking to capture this history making moment of the First Man to set foot on the Moon. Buzz did a few other things that after NASA had a chance to review the entire mission blew some minds in the program. He took it upon himself to start up the abort rendezvous radar which drained the computer software to the point that it had to begin dropping tasks “1201 and 1202 alarms” almost costing an abort of the flight.

Those guys were on the surface of the moon for 21 hours. Amazing therefore to think that human beings have DEFINITELY farted on the moon. I've never previously looked at the majesty on the moon in the sky and thought 'i bet some guys had a good fart on that' - but they most definitely have.

The speed of a spacecraft traveling to the moon is constantly changing. It starts off going extremely fast when it first leaves the vicinity of the earth. Then as it travels outbound it slows down due to the earth's gravity trying to pull it back down. The velocity continues to decrease until a point about 4/5ths of the way to the moon. At that point the moons gravity takes over and starts to speed the spacecraft back up again. The 5,000 kph figure given in the video is just the average speed over the entire length of the trip.

@bendeleted9155
@bendeleted9155 6 жыл бұрын
DerSchlesier Naz , if you could, you wouldn't be able to see the detail in the sunlit stuff on the ground. Would be all washed out. That's why you can't see stars when you take a photo of the foreground at night here on Earth too, assuming there are lights on in the area.

Soda Pop, I've heard it before, but I'm assuming that more and more, folks don't understand cameras, since I haven't even used a manual camera since '95. I'm just glad it was a question instead of a statement this time. 😀

@darrenporter1850 5 жыл бұрын
If people want to ask questions, please stop with the Stars argument. The camera does not let enough light in to make out the stars.. that is normal. I do want to ask why the Earth cannot be seen though? Is this a valid question?
@bendeleted9155
@bendeleted9155 5 жыл бұрын
@@darrenporter1850 great question. The Earth will be seen as a sliver somewhere near the sun and overpowered as viewed from the moon if they went up when the moon was full, as seen from Earth. Plus the earth will not always be in the background anyway, just like the moon isn't, while filming on Earth.
@darrenporter1850
@darrenporter1850 5 жыл бұрын
