Are we talking about the same person? John romita Jr might be the worst comic book artist that there is that actually gets big jobs. There's guys worse than him but not guys that they put on big books. He's by far the worst

@@BruceWayne-ri4wr I think he's an aquired taste. Sure, I agree that he gets a little too much praise, concidering his art style is so.. unique, but there is some books he absolutely nailed and I wouldn't want anybody else for them.

@@BruceWayne-ri4wr 3:39 there u go, he literally said its his style, he can do normal drawing if he wanted but his blocky style is more faster and easy to draw, able to meet the deadline, and Romita drew some of the battle-damaged suit ever.

John Romita Jr is an inspiration to every artist who is never 100% satisfied with their art, but is determined to do it just to make a living and get some enjoyment and confidence on the way.

Can't fathom why people shit on this guy's work so much. It's so beautiful and stylistic in my opinion.

People hate the blocky look he gives characters. Only that. No one complains about his storytelling skills or his environments. Just the characters looks. For me Romita JR is one of my favorite artists. I love how he draws fight, dynamic poses and even the blocky look to his characters

Being a teenager, the first time i actually read a comic was seeing his artwork and he became my favourite, especially after hearing about his relationship with his dad, how his dad never got involved only when Jr needed him.

Ann is totally underrated that is why. That and being a woman on a male field. Her run on DD is awesome. Her best work until now, her main strength was that her vision of Daredevil stands apart of the one set by Miller. All other great DD Writers, such as Bendis , Brubaker, etc, work on DD see Miller as the pilar as the root from which there work sprung.

Why is Ann Nocenti's work not mention, the show a cover of one of her stories but don't tell about. I acutely like her stories specially Typhoid Mary story. That interview is missing (the documentary should have told it). At least John Romita Jr. could have told about it. He work for it for a long time and you just got the Frank Miller story. Also D. G. Chichester and Scoot McDaniel's run could have been told. Only tells the good/popular side of the character what a shame.

Yeah I agree. It such a shame. In general Marvel is very bad at promoting Daredevil. The should bring more trades of lesser know stories in print. That Typhoid Mary is OOP is seriously beyond me.

Spider-Man isn’t awkward/gawky John. Yes he started out that way, but as he grew up-I know Marvel doesn’t like to hear that in regards to Peter Parker-he became a graceful character in his own right.
