They couldn't have left. It was the hardest thing for them to leave. Imagine being molested since you're 6, all you know is that life, that's your reality, and you're just in your teens and realize stg is not right. They just couldn't escape that family.

I believe that erik had tried to leave at the age 11 or 12 but his father had found him so anyone saying that one of the brothers could have left have no idea what the mindset of a victim has
