Exactly my point, it clearly looks like there's no conviction from the players and manager. Mentality is completely none existence or lowered, especially when we are faced with strong teams or resistance. What buffles me most is the fact that we always fail to score golden chances or make most of the opportunities we are have in games, but when our opponents have less opportunities or chances they mostly score. We have quality in our squad no doubt, but how to put up consistent heroic performance seems impossible. My take on the club these issues: 1. Department responsible for mental fitness of the players need to take their job seriously or the management do the needful. 2. Yes Jackson is known for blowing off chances. For instance, if it was Jackson with the opportunity which Madueke scored, he could probably blow it off just as he did with the one on one situation (either delay until goal keeper or defender covers him up...). But substituting him is not a good idea for now because there is no one that put defenders on their toes like he do. I would rather spice things up, make him play as winger. 3. I would also not use Nkunku as Jackson's substitute or stand alone striker because clearly is not working. I have seen a number of times he was brought in as Jackson's substitute because we are in need of goal but things turned out to be worse

What else do you expect the manager to say if that's the case. Pochettino changed his tunes midway through season too. When the pressure of expectation was actually put on him, he started speaking more honestly about those in charge, and we also went on a winning run. Then he was sacked. Fans need to start seeing past what's on their faces. We see the players and manager's face every week, while they're responsible for their own duties, it doesn't mean they're the ones who truly run the club and can change our overall direction.

The imbalance in the squad is a result of their incompetence. That said, Maresca signed up for the job. He overestimated his ability to work with young and experienced players with respect to his philosophy and system. He is not a victim here. All levels are culpable.

I was literally thinking the same thing. The women's team is so well run. They understood they needed an elite coach to replace Emma and they got Sonia who is world class. They have also just spent £1m on Naomi Girma who is a proven, elite player. Why then, can't they replicate this same approach for the men's team? I don't get it.

BlueCo didn't touch them too much, so it's basically one of the few remnants of Roman era Chelsea. Paul Green is the general manager, who joined us in 2013. He was involved in Bompastor's recruitment and is also currently in charge of player recruitment. But be sure the new directors will try take credit for that too. They've done nothing there.

You are so blind. Palmer was the only man standing in the midfield progressing the ball. Watch how many passes to madueke, Jackson and cocu. Ask yourself, where were Enzo fenandez who is supposed to be closer to him for one two or direct solo from midfield. Are you blind to see he was dropped deeper which was Enzo job? Yet he won the ball from press more than any player in the pitch. No player halved his performance in the match.

I don’t usually comment but this video perfectly summarises perfectly how every Chelsea fan should feel right now. What is hurting me the most is the fact everyone can see what the issues are that need to be fixed in the squad e.g. a component goalkeeper but for some unknown reason everyone at the club seems to be turning a blind eye to it and prioritising everything else. Let's never forget that the UK government is to blame. If it wasn't for them then Chelsea would still be under the ownership of Roman Abramovich. Let's think about it...Under Roman, Potter would never have been appointed, Poch might have done, Maresca would never have been and if he had he would have been sacked by now. There is no way I can see Roman tolerating the drop off that we have seen that has got us 5 points from the last 18 available. As for Palmer, I think he looks lost at the moment and fed up. If Jackson could finish then he'd have 20 assists this season. I genuinely see him moving on in the Summer if we don't get UCL and even then if these owners are offered a great profit on him then they may sell regardless.
