Thank you for doing these recordings! For those of us who struggle with keeping up with reading (via books), this is a godsend. There's just not enough hours in the day to keep up with all the reading we have to do in college!

XD It's a bizarre performance, and yes, the sound quality is rough, but I actually like her overexuberant reading. Her wildly variant prosody keeps me alert and listening. Also, mad respect to her for volunteering to read Chaucer out loud for an hour and twenty minutes.

I got about 15 minutes in before I gave up. This is pretty rough.

I'm literally getting nauseous.. some form of audio motion-sickness... seriously... it's like each syllable is being pronounced with utterly random inflection.. It's quite shocking.. I'm grateful that these are available but I may not make it through this one...(nope, made it 20 minutes.. next... the annoyance is overpowering my inner completionist.. amazing really)

Wow! Middle English done in an Illinois accent. This recording is, how shall I say it kindly.... less than par.

My English teacher does this better... honestly I shall stick to her. Poor Chaucer, crying in his grave he is.
