Get one south of the rust belt. They're everywhere old people live, like Florida. I bought all of mine between Tampa Bay and Sarasota. Bought my 70k mile crown Vic for $1,800. I've had to replace the ball joints in all of them but never the air conditioning. The AC in the 03 Grand Marquis with 225k miles is the coldest ac I've ever known and I've never touched it in 100k miles. There's also parts galore for these cars. Every junk yard has a dozen or more and every parts house has almost every part in stock. It's such a good time to be alive with all these cars everywhere for less than a typical c*nt car.

@@pantherplatform I have 2, they are great cars. They all have the same issues; Ball joints at about 100k miles, Heater core at about 130k, Alternator at around 120k, my 1999 popped a spark plug at 180k, probably good to get the special plugs well before that. AC compressor at about 140k. Engine still burns no oil at 190k, stainless exhaust still perfect, intermittent issues on both with front passenger power window (electrical) and driver's solenoid door lock (also electrical). None of these issues are atypical for a car of such mileage, and I would not hesitate to buy another as they are easy and relatively inexpensive to repair.

@@OldeCarrGuy Thanks for clearing that up !! Fact is, those so-called "Cold Air Intakes" are pretty close to worthless at anything less than Wide Open Throttle. My favorite is 2003. Half of them are genuine 03's and the second half of the model year are more like 04's. The 03's have a clock in the dash, light under the hood, map pouches in the seats, black b pillars, remote fuel door opener, full size engine cover, and some other distinct features that only an 03 has. There are some huge differences between the 03 and newer and the 02 and older model years. If it's older than 03, it's got the same chassis as every panther going back to the 80's. The 03 on up has a totally redesigned frame, suspension, brakes, engine, transmission, etc.
@pantherplatform4 жыл бұрын
@@nathanburden6548 depends on what it looks like underneath, the interior, condition of engine and transmission, etc. I'd pay that much only if it didn't have any rust because there are rust free panthers everywhere for 2&3 grand with low and high miles.

You gotta dip...you gotta doodle...oh you gotta love your grandma lol..last repetitive question...you said 19" 2011 mustang rims fit perfect but do we have the same wheel size being my big uncle mobile is a 2010?
@OldeCarrGuy4 жыл бұрын
18" are a perfect fit. With 245/45r18 tires, should be the same overall diameter as a stock 16" or 17".
