AKM hands down imho. Still pretty new to the game so correct me if i am wrong, but the stats between the 103 and the akm are close enough to be considered damn near identical. Therefore, acquisition seems to be the tie breaker here and the akm can be purchased with a level 1 barter trade for small cans of beef stew.....making the gun itself incredibly cheap and easy to obtain early. Whereas the 103 is straight up cash at prapor 3 it looks like? Going off the wiki for that as i am only at prapor 2 myself.

Avid vpo-136 enjoyer here. I run it with meta mods. Very similar to the akm/103 builds. I usually spend around 180k, and if I make a bit of money/survive a few raids I’ll dump another 50-100k into it. (If I haven’t already scavenged some meta parts off dead bodies)

Basically depending on when you buy your horses you get a vpo for anywhere between 14-30k from the barter, and that entire 180k is all mods

PDC dustcover gives 1 less ergo than the Bastion, so bastion is actually better (better stats, lower price)

Ngl the AKM is just the sweetest gun I’ve ever used in Tarkov since I unlocked BP with Punisher 5. it’s my first ever wipe since I started a month before the wipe happened, but this akm and the BP ammo was something I’ve dreamed about and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. Starting out with lvl 4 armor and progressing to lvl5 and 6 by using stuff I earned with this gun combined with the ammo is sweet af. To everyone wondering, the grind towards BP ammo is well worth it. I’m getting more kills, more confidence and better raids than ever before, and I went around with SR-25‘s, SVD‘s and more. Just a casual love letter to my AKM and daddy Prapor providing me with BP.

The Krebs combo is my go to for ak front end, it has super good ergo and is only 1% off of the cmrd for recoil with the same benefits for grip options. It sits between 10 and 14k on the flea market making it an obvious choice

I love your AK-103, I tried adapting it to the AKM and found that building the same thing is worse on the AKM and is more expensive. Specifically speaking on your mid tier ak-103 with CRMD

If you dont have Mechanic lvl 4 for the sark the Magpul RVG Foregrip is the same as the sark but one less ergo from PK lvl 3 :)

For me, in build 0.14, the best weapons for 5.45x30 is AKS74-U. This weapon has no recoil. With PS GS, PP GS and BT this shit got crazy.

well, remember this, a mutant always gets kept, whilst a akmn normally gets left after getting somewhat stripped. meaning weapon is normally only like 100k, the expensive shit like the supressor and scope would likly be taken

If you made a video about different headsets, it’s not like you would omit sound comparisons just because everyone has different perception skill levels. Just a thought. Great video nonetheless

​@@behimothgames7333 I would love to see you explaining to some streamers why 7.62 is better than true meta guns...especially if the explaining took place through VOIP anywhere on labs or resort. And yes, they could kill you with basically any gun in the game...but fact remains they would do it quicker and far more comfier with stuff like MP7 or M4 or HK. And if you by any chance meant "meta" as the best 7.62 gun to build, you should be more careful about your wording. Peace and good luck out there!
