I don’t know whether to be happy with Havik buffs or sad, because I mained Havik since the beginning but now I feel like all the meta slaves are going to move over to him abuse him and then get him nerfed. Stick with your main through the highs and the lows, don’t jump around to whoever is good.

Don’t understand the mission that NRS is on to keep the “Grandmaster” SubZer0 literally the saddest character in the Lin Kuei. It’s so frustrating watching the damage that Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke and even scorpion gets vs the person who should be the best of that klan. Don’t mean to rant but I hate how they made ice ball useless and the way SZ damages scales when other characters have way more damage. If they speed up the ice ball to allow it to combo and shorten the cool down on the ice Klone sub will probably move up a tier and that’s not even considering if they buff his damage. Buff Sub Zero!!!!

Some keynotes I’d like players to give me feedback on: - Sub Zero + Khameleon in Reverse order. Open up with string into jade glaive or ground freeze, do a string into the opposite one next, and then end the combo with a string into ice clone. - Follow that with the low/OH reset mixup with Mileena now being the phase - Geras is there a consistent way to combo off of Kham: Mileena sai’s off of his overhead? I struggled - When playing Cyrax do you prefer using Kameo Cyrax or Kameo Kano - Both function similarly, Kano just armor breaks instead. - Nitara + Sonya players how do you feel being the reason people will never get on MK1 again? Lol - What buffs does Peacemaker need that are fun but also good? - Sektor’s mid string is unsafe, how do we feel about that?

I would also give him back 50 health and give him some new offensive specials, maybe something with his shield where he can absorb projectiles and gain hits of armor per every projectile absorbed. He can go for an unsafe launcher off of this, a safe high, or do nothing. I would keep everything else the same. Geras can combo with hour glass

I love subs in this game. I just wish we could combo with the ice ball. I wouldn't even mind if he got the scorpion treatment, where he has a fast start up but slow recovery if he misses. It keeps us from just spamming ice ball and we gonna be strategic when we use it. His core moveset is great. It's just he still has to use so many resources to be a threat or play the running away game and force the opponent to come to use and we use an ice clone.

I’m a havik player and even I understand that ex snap is objectively bad for the game. It shouldn’t break armor AND negate the damage scaling. Reversing controls is not a legitimate downside because at top level execution is not a problem. It should either JUST break armor or JUST give a damage boost, whether they keep the reverse controls gimmick is whatever

Kung Lao needs his teleport. Fighting against any flying character or zoner feels impossible since he has now has to dive kick to gain distance, which opens him up way too much. He is already a stubby character and now you cant even use his safe armor to get in close. The spin buff is nice, but you need to use meter to make it move fast, and youre not able to combo out of it, and you wont be getting any damage out of it either. Does not help he has 3 high strings and his meterless launcher is like reptiles but its unsafe.

Ive spent the past couple days learning noob and I like him at top of B but im not entirely sure. I definitely get what you were saying with the “hard to open someone up” it was especially clear in a mirror match i did where we both spend a good 30 seconds doing strings back and forth trying to mix each other up. I use janet instead of movado, I think she offers more consistent combos, but a lot of mix comes from his instant cancel down back three, she clone sweep. I just feel like he might edge his way into A with all of his possible things at his disposal, but i also see him being held back because of his walk/dash speed as well as his trex arms for pokes.

I keep joking that Sub is to MK1 as Honda is to SF6. Good at low to moderate levels, but at high levels, his stuff is figured out and the typical, higher damage just doesn't come out as a result. And inexplicably left to sit pretty much as is. Also, Reiko Mavado is wild. Less over the top damage, but you can do 30% combos off a TON of random connections and pokes and it makes him even better at just not needing the corner to mess you up.

Vyletz has a great video explaining but i'll do my best F14 dial in mid, ends in a low. The low combos off her ambush easily, can be cancelled early to combo wherever, and can be mixed up to combo with sonya's overhead. f214 has the overhead launch mixup of sonya, and is plus on block unlike Scorpion's which is negative 12 can have the flawless block punish saved by Sonya overhead low sai's combo into sonya ambush sonya has a fullscreen projectile and can keep yolo ball roll safe etc jump pressure with new sonya move

As a geras main, after the changes to other characters, he’s bottom 1. The F3 bounce buff has too much recovery to work with pretty much anyone, especially motaro who is his best kameo for his neutral by far. It’s so sad to see b/c geras was always low tier with havik & shang, but they are basically new characters and Geras is arguably worse.

Why would you nerf a character that completely relies on their mobility & plus frames to do literally anything? He has no projectiles & his damage is average, yet, consistent. Johnny is quite balanced as he is, now. If any more big nerfs were to happen, he'd literally be bottom 3. Johnny would still be good with the entire kameo roster, but he wouldn't even feel like an MK character with the nerfs you're asking for. 🤷‍♂️

Yeaaaaah, I have a nitara friend and her getting a free dive kick with Sonya now is kinda wild. I’m just standing there too scared to hit Scorpion’s b2 to try and anti air

@@Diff yes i allways Said nitara has all the Tools in the world and the biggest damage since Release of the Game and people called her weak or Low Tier but she never was now with Sonya giving her the Pistol that gives her a free Grab or the plus Leg Grab its Just crazy plus the newest kick Attack its so good She went from amazing but No one used her to super amazing and everyone uses her 😃 I Like that Scorpion alot of bufs and Things He needed but i would Like Scorpion and smoke get alot of new moves 😅😃

@@Diff what i learned from playing against my friend That by the way Beat alot of pro Players even karnimani and i learned Dont anti Air or jump at her And when you Play against nitara dont try to Up Block nitara can be Up blocked but If you Focus too much on Up Blocking IT makes you unfocused 😃😅

Geras can actually confirm off of f3 with motaro teleport with d1 then time freeze, however the timing is quite tight.😕

Reasonable list but its way too early make a tier list for this patch, its only been 3 days
