I personally don't believe VR has a lack of interesting content anymore, but that does seem to be a very common misconception. There are tons of fantastic games to play on the Quest 3 alone, even more if you can connect it to a PC.

I get motion sick from VR really easily, but games like beat saber and Pistol whip (and any game that has TP movement) can holk me in for hours. Also, two external batteries flat out solves the battery problem. I used to have one 10 000 mAh (18W) and it worked fine for like 1.5 extra hours, but then I got another 20 000 mAh battery, and now I have infinite playtime since I can charge one battery while using the other :) also, battery goes in the pocket, cable running along the inside of my clothes so it doesn’t get snagged. The only problem I have is that I get very sweaty from playing for too long, but I guess that’s good for my body somehow. The lack of good content is kinda dissapointing though, especially considering what’s possible with the headset. Personally I really like to learn new skills (especially those which are transferable to real life, like shooting or painting). Actually got one to practice driving (together with steering wheel and pedals) but there aren’t many games out there which does this well. I imagine you could probably make a very good blacksmithing game even without the force feedback from the hammer, or good dart throwing games etc. Few games focus on making sure it’s as close to 1:1 with reality as possible, and instead you have to learn how the physics works in the game. It has the potential to be a platform where you can master a lot of skills from the comfort of your livingroom, and I really hope it becomes that.
