@waynedixon2464 They sound exactly the same as any new releases from Architects, Memphis May Fire, Poppy and Wage War. They're all the same exact songs. Poppy's album would be better if it came out like 4 or 5 years prior before the oversaturation of this milk toast 'Alt Metal' sound. it's crazy because bands like Disturbed, and 5FDP get shit on endlessly yet everyone is copying their decade old style, somehow making it more milk toast, and everyone's eating it up. a quite confusing dose of whiplash if I do say so myself.

I've said it once and I'll say it again the award show is mostly a popularity / which band has the most views contest. I just think it's a shame that *some* people can't think for themselves or dig deep and actually take the time to research the nominees. A lot of the stuff I voted for didn't even make top five. But at the end of the day it's all good and I think the awards show should continue on for many many moons to come * the emptiness machine making song of the year is an absolute joke
