It is a great trin for us carless folks living in the city. It has been the same and going strong sonce the early 90s...the stations I do hope will be upgraded, with more walking room and more cover from the rain. But since it has an average of 60,000 riders per day, which is more than most cities double the population, as St. Louis only has 300,000 people but almost 3 million in the metro area, 16th highest in the US. Making drastic changes would be so difficult fpr the daily riders, for work and school, etc. Yet, plans for expansion, and new lines are in the works, but haven't started, but with our large and many many corporate HQ's here, the tax revenue should stream from these multi-billion $$$ company's///!!
