Every YES network yankee game starts with Michael telling us how “good” the Yankee starting pitcher has been over the last couple of games….then said pitcher goes out and get shelled immediately….yankees stink

Girardi held players accountable, but he lost his job. Some Yankees have done well, but lost their jobs for playing poorly at some point of the season only to do better with their next team. Some players do not play well, but they're still there. Lots of guys who did not do well left to do well where they are right now. Boone is everything Hal and Brian want in a manager despite his being hopelessly overmatched by all of his MLB elite team counterparts. If all that is true common sense tells you the problem is organizational, and new leadership is required.

Getting into the playoffs will be because of the first 70 games. Flaming out of the playoffs almost immediately will have more to do with the way they've been in the last 70 games.

They are not now & never were a sustainably good team this year & you don't have to cherry pick anything to know they have been far more bad then good, will ultimately continue to be what they truly are, and flame out in the post season 🙄

Rangers also had a great (I repeat GREAT!) manager w an amazing championship pedigree. See the distinction..?

The Mets have a better infield , 3B, SS, 2B and 1B and LF. Yankees have a better catcher , CF and RF. Mets have the better Bench. Yankees have better bullpen but it’s very close and the starting pitching is probably more on the Yankees side but again , very close. Also Mets have swept the Yankees this season 0-4 . You can’t argue facts

Wrong!!! How can they be better when they're under 500 since June 1st? The Mets DESTROYED these bums. We have the better lineup, rotation, bullpen and manager. We're the superior team in every way! Soon we'll have more wins too. Yankees suck!
