I used to be high on herro. I always give him chances because he is hurt. but man got his chances last season and couldn't deliver. Like atleast pull some Luka Doncic type sht where you actually drop huge numbers and get some win. all these "I should also be in the conversation" and then no productivity.

No not worried about them playing together. Terry wasn’t defending in Charlotte because no one was, and was a solid defender in his Boston days. So I don’t take anything into that Defensive Rating of Terry. And if they both can hit 37-40% from 3, just add Highsmith or Jacquez in the line up to help the defense. And if it’s a close game and we’re down I wholeheartedly expect 2 of our best scorers/3 point shooters to be in the game

Terry Rozier is obviously a smaller guard, but when he was with the Celtics he was all defensive. He didn't become a scorer until he left Boston. He just a smaller guard in today's game that's all. Back in the day Terry would be great with Miami.

Herro and Rozier hardly played together. We know they are not plus defenders, but if they both average 20 ppg per game and shoot 40% from 3 it won't matter so much.

@dawsohunnid3053 wassup. I hear you. Seems like half of Heat Nation prefers Herro coming off the bench, but so long as he's in a Heat uniform, I don't think that's going to happen. Besides, their minutes together can be staggered so they don't share the floor as much. My point is that they can make up for what they will give up in points defensively by scoring often. Say you have Herro, Rozier, Bam, and Butler in the starting lineup, that's 3 guys that can and should average around 20 ppg each. That's 80 ppg coming from your starters right there. We would need Jovic to hit his open 3s. That would bring us to 90 ppg. Then we have a 6 man in Jaime who will get his 12 to 15 ppg. The rest of the bench can bring us and keep us scoring above 100 ppg. And that's what we need caise defense wins games during crunch time where Coach Spo can roll out his 5 closers. Maybe Rozier, Jaime, Butler, Highsmith, & Bam or some other combination.

Even if both are full of fire power in offence. Both will be a liability in defence. In that case Miami will never be a champion if thwy will stick to it. Their guards are too small. Let Butler play as 2 and Triple J as 1.

@@heatreport playmaking does not depend on 1 person. You create a play for every person. If all players are threat the play will be created wether you like it or not. The ball movement will be a lot better when all are threat for offence. But with that line up. You dont compromise on your defence. Gone are the days where you need a designated point guard to call a play. Just my two cents opinion.

I don't see a problem.....Move one to the bench(preferably Herro).The offense does and always have run smoother with Duncan starting next to Bam and Jimmy. That minor tweak would work wonders. It would solidify the 2nd unit, and Spo can do a better job of hiding them. Which is nearly impossible with both on the floor together. Herro have already thrived in the 6th man role. The reason I would prefer him. He would already know what his job is.

The Heat tried Duncan next to Rozier for like 20 something games and it was one of the worst lineups in the league. Their competition in that span was "easy" teams too. They need Herro more than people realize.

@JulberPajares4 He didn't start every gane Herro missed, he didn't play every game Herro missed, was Jimmy playing, was Bam.playing, and etc. So again, the Heat offense is way more efficient and effective with Duncan starting. Why? Because he opens the floor up for Jimmy and Bam. Also, him and Bam chemistry is ridiculous!

Before I even watched the rest of the video, I just want to say that for the Miami Heat there is no comparison between Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro. Terry Rozier is more needed because he is a original point guard who can dish, throw lobs, score, but more importantly, run the offense. We've all seen Tyler hero run the offense. He has the same chance of jokic running the offense LOL he's definitely not a point guard. Real Heat fans know this is not a situation
