Is LeBron James the GOAT?🏀🐐
@antoniosy53054 жыл бұрын
No...To be a GOAT, You need to be a Winner! And MJ ,was a proven winner from College to Olympics and to the NBA. Never lost in any Championship Game! The Defense from the 80's to 90's are very Physical and Tough. He played with the Lakers,Celtics and Pistons all in their Prime!
@TheEMenk304 жыл бұрын
Antonio Sy he lost to the Pistons when they were in their prime. Same with the Celtics. There were plenty of seasons MJ didn’t make it to the championship game or series in college and the pro’s.... He’s a winner though, but so is LeBron...... thanks for watching

@@antoniosy5305 yeah, probably it's LeBron's fault that he didn't go to college to win NCAA, maybe it's his fault that the league changed it's officiating protocols to get away from more physical plays that may trigger altercations and fist fights and maybe it's his lost the 2003-2010 Cavs org brought the best player to compliment LeBron namely Mo Williams, Delonte West and aging Ben Wallace and Shaq haha!

Lol. I can understand picking LBJ over MJ, but being more “clutch”, specially in terms of shot-making..that’s a joke. It’s not close. Some of these stats could almost fool me, if I was in 4th grade.

I need to introduce you to sir Charles Barkley, and i quote “i will slap anyone who compares Lebron to MJ.” that was after GSW sweeps Lebron and the Cavs... Lebron just gave up on that series, the stats are there but you can’t see the heart. (If you know what i mean)... 😂
@TheEMenk304 жыл бұрын
hunyango the 2018 Cavs were the weakest of his 2nd term Cavs teams because they traded Kyrie for nothing. LeBron was incredible that series, the numbers show that. A sweep looks bad, yes. But, a) the Warriors were much better. B) it’s a team sport & C) LeBron ave 34, 9 & 10 on 53% shooting. How is this his fault they lost?
@lrumramatia47874 жыл бұрын
gave up? i dont think so.. there're times he carried cavs even when kyrie or love was injured.. we'll nver know if gsw will still beat the cavs in fullpower back then..

@@lrumramatia4787 so what happen against the aging Dallas Mavs? pretty sure that the Mavs are aging and they got a not so athletic star with a problem with running... the mavs just destroyed him with just a bunch of aging role players. explain that please if Lebron is really that great.
@lrumramatia47874 жыл бұрын
@@hunyango2k ..well dats not the point.. im pointing out dat it's unfair to say he gave up just bcoz they lose the series and didnt succeed unlike the mavs.. like major said he delivered monster stats to carry the cavs.. the ball is round, you cant expect every aging, superstar-less and underdog teams to pull a feat like wat mavs did.. specially against a golden state..

People categorizes Jordan as a winner because he won the NCAA championship and won the NBA championship as well but is it LeBron's fault that he did not go to college? The Bulls organization's master plan went perfectly with the people they brought in to compliment Jordan but is it LeBron's fault that the best players the '03-'10 Cavs org brought to help him are Mo Williams, Delonte West and aging Big Ben and Shaq. Z is probably the best player he ever played with during his first stint with the Cavs. I'd probably give 2011 to those people who criticize Bron because it feels like they should have gotten that championship that year but kudos to Dirk and the '11 Mavs In 2010 free agency, LeBron's mind probably says - "F*ck this org, won't give me enough help to win it all, I'll just go to an org that will..."then took his talents to South Beach. He's probably in his 'most'prime years from 2012-2014 - he was amazing and unstoppable. In 2014 free agency, I'm not sure how the timeline goes but by the start of free agency Pat Riley signed Danny Granger and Luol Deng - now, if you want LeBron to stick around those are not the guys you would sign. So he decided to come back to Cleveland probably with David Griffin promising him that they'll be able to get KLove. In 2015 it was really unfortunate with KLove going down and then Kyrie in game 1 of the Finals - it's hard to play 'what if's' to some people but I would say that could have been Cav's trophy In 2016 - we all know what happened 2017 - we all know Kevin Durant happened 2018 - probably the best individual 'non-title' run in the history now, excluding the 2011 Mavs, Bron was beaten in the Finals by just two teams - the Spurs and the Warriors if you compare that to the 90's of the NBA, Spurs and Warriors is the Chicago Bulls team and LeBron is the Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone of that era. For me, I really think LeBron has a case in this conversation and for him to be always there while still playing should give us something to think about where he will be in that conversation when it's all said and done. But here's something to ponder - have you noticed that during his last contract years, he always puts up amazing numbers but watching him makes me feel like he's not really too engaged anymore? This is a great content Major Pain. LeBron is my GOAT but you Eric Menk is my PBA GOAT. :)

10 Reasons why Lebron is not the GOAT 1. He never led the CAVS to the Playoffs during his Rookie Year. The only challenge for Top Draft Picks. Jordan, Magic, Russell, Jabbar, Bird, Kobe and Duncan, ALL GOAT Contenders led their Teams to the Playoffs during their Rookie Year. Russell and Magic even won them Championships. Lebron has All-Star Zydrunas Ilgaukas and fellow 2008 Redeem Team Team Mate Carlos Boozer with the Cavs from 2003-2006. 2. LeBRONZE James. Bronze in the 2004 Olympics and 2006 Lebron led US FIBA Team. Needed Kobe to win Gold. Did not join Rio Olympics after Kobe declined to play. 3. Joining other Superstars with Championships to win his First Championship. Jordan, Magic, Russell, Jabbar, Bird, Kobe and Duncan never left the team that Drafted them to win their First Championship. 4. Getting OWNED by ROLEPLAyERS in the FINALS. Being stopped by JJ Barrea and out scored by Jason Terry. Role Players Kawhi Leonard and Andre Igoudala becoming FINALS MVP for owning Lebron? 5. Losing Record against Superstars in the Finals. 0-1 against Nowitski.1-2 against Duncan and 1-3 against Curry. How can you say you are the Greatest if everybody has a winning percentage against you? 6. 4-6 in the Finals is 40% winning Percentage. Compared to the percentage of Jordan, Magic, Russell, Jabbar, Bird, Kobe and Duncan? 7. NO DYNASTY. How Ironic that a King does not have a Dynasty. 8. Being SWEPT in the Finals Twice. If you are supposed to be the GOAT, you will never let your team be swept in the Finals. Lebron was swept twice. 9. CANNOT DOMINATE WITH SUPER TEAMS. Lebron chose his team and players. But his led teams never produced a Dynasty and have losing percentages against teams like San Antonio and GSW. 10. Clutch only in Playoffs, Not in Finals. He may have more buzzer beaters in the Playoffs but never have in the Greatest Stage of them all. The Finals. Ray Allen save his ass. Kyrie saved his ass and who can forget the Danny Green pass?

I mean it's an opinion at the end of the day. Lebron is one of my favorites and will defend his greatness from the worst haters. I still think MJ is the GOAT and one or two others could be better like KAJ, Bird, Rusell, Magic, but I believe Lebron has such a good case as second behind MJ. No matter what you think about him he deserves to be in the class of the best ever. He definitely has shown and looked like a GOAT many times during his career. Just wish people gave more respect about him or the other greats. Not one player is like a GOD and perfect which the issue with fans nowadays. They think everyone has to agree to one opinion. People can think Hakeem or Wilt are the GOAT if they want to with like one and two rings in their resume.
