For many years, I’ve felt like I could hear Wes Montgomery’s thumbprint when I listen to those records. I’m hearing the same thing(except with many fingerprints)with Michael’s playing. These real slow songs he plays are some of the most beautiful guitar music I’ve ever heard. There is so much to learn from him.

@Stephenmichaelparker I agree with what you're saying, I'm a huge fan, but I disagree with the "underrated" comment. Who under rates him? Nobody that's heard him play, that's for sure. He's won Guitar Player Studio player of the year. That's a fairly high rating, I think. Producers that hire him to play on hundreds or thousands of albums rate him highly. Do you mean "unknown"? That I'd agree with, at least by name, in the mainstream. Not at all "underrated". Underrated is a misused term.
