Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. Unfortunately I don’t have this setup anymore and I don’t remember exactly what I used so I won’t be able to make you a guide. That being said, getting all the gear is only a fraction of the sound.. as YT demonstrates every day. Hopeful souls failing to cop the schmo even tho they got the gear. It’s lots of different subtle things.. and one of the most important thing is how you play and what you play. Sad but true. I was never completely happy with the sounds I got, but I guess no one ever is. Happy tone hunting. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

For chorus do you prefer the Tri Stereo or the TC 1210? And for the pitch shift sound do you prefer the Eventide or the Yamaha?
@marsa6 Жыл бұрын
Hi! ..and thanks for the question. The simple answer is: I love’em all!! These are all quality units with imo exceptional sound. You can’t go wrong with any of them. That being said, I seem to favor one over the other based on what I want to hear. They sound different, so you choose the one which best suits the sound you are trying to achieve at any given moment. Or, if you only have one.. you just use that and be happy. It doesn’t really matter. I can add that if you’re going for the big clean schmojo sound, it helps to have both pitch and chorus although not essential. The key to the tone is what you play and how you play it. Delay is also a big part of that tone.
@fr201Ай бұрын
The Marshall the main amp tone?
@marsa6Ай бұрын
@@fr201 Yes, iirc. There’s a slight chance it was the OD100, but I’m pretty sure it was the Marshall. I was using the Wilson Sparkling Blue as a boost into the Marshall (‘71 50w) at the time.

@marsa610 ай бұрын
@@roccogreco21 Hey! Basically, there are no rules… and to go into spesifics here for someone who is not familiar with it would be difficult.. but a quick overview: All the basic tone is from an amp be it a preamp/poweramp or a head. This is where your distortion comes from. All FX like chorus, reverb and delay are put after the amp. My compressor (for clean) and chorus are in series while pitch, reverb and delay are in parallell using a mixer. Hope this helps. You could always Google: «Bradshaw rack wiring» That might get you started 👍🏻 Good luck!
@marsa610 ай бұрын
@@roccogreco21 There might be a language barrier here.. maybe you wanted to know about the physical order of the units in a rack? That is totally up to personal preference. For me it’s about what’s practical when it comes to wiring. There could also be noise issues or heating issues that you would sort out using a different place for the troublesome units.
