I'm so grateful to have found this podcast and I want everyone reading this to know that I'm not feeling sorry for myself and I know this has not only happened to me. . but since my 20 year old son was murdered I just keep pouring down the Pepto-Bismol and it doesn't work. I will never be okay until my last breath. Now, after listening to this wonderful podcast I have a change of attitude...I'm sitting on this dirt, so I will enjoy myself until my last breath. I know my son would want that.

I do not know you - but I know loss of loved one, so am sorry for what you are going through. There are many more videos dealing with how to cope with grief....and you may not believe in mediums who can talk to people who have passed, but based on their information, if they could talk to your son, he will say that he is fine and you need to stop mourning for him...his soul is still alive and he is not happy watching you feel so sad. I think all religion teaches that the soul never dies....so his soul is alive and you will meet him in the afterlife. Even if you do not accept that...if you had died first, would you want him to be in constant pain from your passing....yes you need to cry, not take Pepto....there is healing in crying....do it as much as you need to and have a conversation with your departed son ❤️!

Hey dtexan. I see your pain and I wish your son was still here. This world can be filled with so much pain. I’m so glad you’ve found this and I hope you continue to find peace. I lost my mind last year and almost committed suicide. In 2019 I had a spiritual awakening and so it was quite the fall. But I’m here with you on this pale blue. I see you. I hope your heart continues to heal. This work is so simple yet so profound to me. I want to cultivate peace and joy in my life, despite my tragedy. Despite your tragedy. With peace and love.

@@mitch5222 Hard pill to swallow, but anxiety is only a mind perception. It seems very real to the person experiencing it. Which I have for decades. I finally made up my mind that no matter how much fear I was feeling I was just gonna go on with my day and live my life. Anxiety is making your mind live in the past or mainly in the future. We are not fortunetellers. We don’t even know if we’re gonna be here tomorrow. Take my advice ….just let go ….Let life unfold and be OK with whatever comes. Even though I don't entirely agree with everything he says because I belong to a different faith that goes into greater detail about life, God, and human existence, I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the content of all the talks. The faith I belong to is Sukyo Mahikari, a Japan-based spiritual organization officially founded in 1959 by Mr. Okada Kotama. I learned through Sukyo what God is and why He created the universe and our world. It is to replicate a Heaven on Earth, where the divine principles rule and humans know God as their ultimate Parent and we are brothers and sisters. I consider Mr. Michael Singer a genuine and sincere teacher. His teachings are truly illuminating and liberating. I listen to him a lot and try to put what he says into practice. I believe I have made progress. In Sukyo Mahikari, we are gifted with the Art of True Light by raising our hands. It is the gift from God to allow us to purify the spirit, mind, and body. There are two things we need to do: to be purified with the Art of True Light and to change ourselves based on the divine teachings. Mr. Singer's teachings cover the second part perfectly. But, without the Light, it is impossible to solve spirit disturbance or resolve negative karma which is inherent in all of us. One fact which is omitted by most spiritual teachings is the spiritual realm, the existence of spirits, and the influence they can impose on our lives. The Art of True Light (Mahikari no Waza) is the tool to resolve that. Unfortunately, it is unavailable outside Sukyo Mahikari. If there is one thing I may suggest to make the broadcast better, it is the way Mr. Singer speaks. He is very humble and compassionate. Humorous as well. But I wish he would speak slower, enunciate all the vowels and not swallow some of them. For the benefit of non-native English speakers like me, it'd be an added blessing. This is why I find the subtitling very helpful. I apologize for any unintended impudence.

Thankyou. “The game of life, is let’s pretend…and then….let’s pretend, that we are no longer pretending”. A quote from a past yoga seminar leaflet many years ago. Yes we attach in the Bhuddist themes, cling, grab and believe our own nonsense themes…….however sometimes life often places extremely challenging themes, related to yourself & your environment. Another teacher used to tease saying “so now’s an excellent time to investigate, just being, by living in the moment of now. Looking at the root cause, watching the mind jumping from one subject to another and allowing ideas, to arise, live and then die. It’s O.K. That’s just the way things are. Impermanent themes.” Much love to you and all the viewers.

Thankyou, yes it’s an experience being, living in a physical human body. However there are lots of things happening, like planetary changes, weather, homelessness, refugees, the news media informs the mind daily, with the present virus, worldwide pandemic unfolding events. Sadly not a Disney theme, for the millions of people suffering. So one choice we all have, is to act skilfully, by not adding to it. By being OK you can be a peaceful oasis, for others to share. Yoga is union. You act skilfully, to whatever situation, life places you in. Reality is that we all live in different mindset moments. Manifestations, accepting ones responsibility to oneself and others. So choose love, not wars, guns, annihilation. Compassionate understanding….souls evolving…much love to all beings.
