This is so deep and it’s so powerfully beautiful and I’m finally understanding it and I have no one to share it with because none of my friends are into this stuff but I shared anyway and they think I’m crazy. Thank you, Michael. ❤️

Are you kidding - its all the more important to share it with those who are not into it - theres no greater gift than when someone helps you grow. Sure most will turn their noses - but if you help one soul - BOOM! Homerun!

Been following Mickey's talk for a while now and feeling blessed. It's so simple yet so deep. I wrote a poem (with help from Chatgpt) to share with all. Peace be with you. Mind, Oh Mind By Vai S. Thean Mind, oh mind, cease these futile chores, I implore, No longer bear this tiresome mental war. It's not your duty to forecast every plight, To dwell on what might go wrong day and night. Mind, oh mind, embrace the present, I decree, No more fretting, let your thoughts roam free. I'd rather face each challenge as it appears, Than dwell in worry, fueling needless fears. Mind, oh mind, let joy and sorrow intertwine, Appreciating both, for they are intertwined. I prefer to live without constant dismay, To cherish life's moments, come what may. Mind, oh mind, release the weight of endless thought, Feel the world, let your worries come to naught. I'd rather risk the unknown, live unfurled, Than play the games that shield me from the world. Mind, oh mind, break free now and so shall I, Together we'll embrace life, no need to shy. Mind, oh mind, in liberation we'll find, A lighter heart, unburdened, undefined.

After studying Buddhism for 15 years, the first thing I was told, when I tried to tell my story to my teacher... Her words were: "drop the story", everyone has a story, not important. You get stuck in the story and identify with it so strongly you cannot break through". Thoughts aren't facts. Don't believe 99% of what your mind is telling you, it's all pretty much a lie. (The devil is a liar! His first point of attack is the mind!) A great Buddhist concept: something happens that is difficult, that's the first arrow, then we relentlessly-perpetually beat ourselves up about it, that's the second arrow, (which is often much worse than the original arrow). And there it is: suffering MULTIPLIED and AMPLIFIED, unnecessarily. My teacher said: "go ahead, worry your life away..." with a smile on her face. And I realized how ridiculous it all was.

When I saw the Title I first thought What ? Me worry I don’t worry because I have been listening to MS for many months and Even had the gift to meet him recently! But I listens anyway and was Shicjed at seeing ALL the fear I have been living with all my life, all to try to Protect my Heart from feeling bad! Wow This is the best talk ever Thank you so much Micky, I now am committed for the rest of this life stop using the mind to protect the Heart, now I see that the Heart needs to learn it is ok to sometimes feel sad And to remember I have the power of my Attention and can replace Worry with endless things to be grateful for each and every day! It may take me 1000 days to repeat this truth to myself and I am onboard with that!😊

Thank you Michael. It's crazy how much we have adapted to suffering, to the the point we don't see it at all. I think MV Summers (another spiritual author I respect) says it well that _even your state you call “normal” is a state of suffering-a state of apprehension, concern and anxiety._ And I have noticed this too when I started my internal searching.

I can feel my heartbeat pounding so hard when I'm terrified of demons and my own death, that I feel as if the heart encased within my chest will actually burst explosively. It's unspeakably uncomfortable 🥵!!! I've had debilitating panic attacks since I was a teenager. Meditation can help at times. Thank you 🙏

@@lisacross-ub5pu It's a tough ride, but as much as possible remain with the discomfort without judgement and trying not to flee into thought. Bring the light of attention and love to it - basically doing inner alchemy. It sounds to me like your pain body is strong and very somatic, probably from early trauma. It might help to do some somatic experiencing work.

I have a physical condition that comes with symptoms of panic and anxiety, it really can feel unbearable. I’ve learned to call the emotion by name (fear, panic, anxiety, etc) and then I bow to it in reverence. It calms my mind and most often it diminishes the discomfort. I’m in a flare today and had anxiety for hours, I just keep listening to Mickey and letting that anxiety be there. It’s not comfortable at all but you know what? I’m okay anyway. The discomfort will pass. I’ve learned so much from these teachings.

I am back here where I want to be. Whew!!!When you found what you are looking for and not really sure when you lossed it but you cannot actually ever lose it because it's a choice you have to keep it...I don't know..can anyone else see this. Do you feel this beautiful switch within. It's both scary and exciting because things are just unfolding and you are right there front row seat with the ability to switch your consciousness any moment and have total focus, meditation and clarity. This is it! What I had let go, fell asleep too and I am so happy to accept this love back into my heart and power back to mySelf.
