The Michiana Living TV Pizza Tour Continues at Barnaby's Pizza

We have a Barnaby's family Inn in Tallahassee Florida and its been here my entire life since 1973. They make the BEST Chicago thin style pizza BUT alas due to Covid after almost 50 years serving our town they went out of business last summer. So many folks here are devastated over this.

I used to work at a Barnaby's Inn restaurant in Arlington Heights Illnois. That restaurant looks like the one, I used to work for. In th 1990s when I was a teenager. It wasn't easy when you have to watch 36 pizzas inside the oven, because some costumers wanted their pizzas well done, par-baked, extra crispy or the normal way. Sometime there was a waiting of an hour and half to get your pizza, especially on Fridays.

my god i In Chicago on Touhy avenu, the Barnabys used to be there now closed but the place is identicle. same tables, same food prep area . I wonder if this place has the pizza crust taste like beer.

The crust 100 percent does still taste like that. It's one of my favorite pizzas in the country

Are these franchise operations? We used to have a Barnaby's in Charlottesville, Virginia back during the 80s and would love for someone to resurrect it there.

I used to work at Barnaby's inn. In Arlington Heights Illinois on Rand Rd. and I love it. I miss the taste of it.

I grew up right around the street from this restaurant and I'm going to tell you all the crust is so different than anything you've ever had it is the bass crush you can get on a pizza it's delicious it's flaky and just very very good but also the toppings are amazing and the place is just a icon

Oh and by the way it originated in South bend Indiana and it's delicious I've been to Chicago and had their Pizza which isn't that far away probably about an hour and a half Barnaby's gifts Chicago Pizza run for their money I can tell you that so does Bruno's Pizza here in South bend Indiana so Chicago is better step your game up we're coming for that shit and I've been in Chicago had a lot of pizza there it's not that impressive take it easy folks fpfi!!!
