It's not intelligent to pretend to be instant best buddy with someone you've just met and is just joining the family. Even because at that time her own position was a bit uncomfortable, not being Charles's wife yet, and not being as popular as she Is now. To show at that time her approval of Catherine could have meant to affect the girl with the negative mark of "friend to the mistress of the Heir". MM was a complete unknown in the USA. When I saw the engagement video my first thought was she looked like a young Demi Moore. Didn’t even know she had a mixed race mother. The kids look like Harry. I’ve had that too, I look just like my Scottish Dad, have a Comanche Grandmother and Filipino Great Grandmother; didn’t get any of that exotic beauty. Scots have dominant genes. My kids and grandkids all look like my Scottish Dad too. Beautiful and handsome family. Grateful for my Dad’s good and strong Scot genes!
