This doc is so biased!! It doesn't hesitate to explain what Catherine and her side did to warrant bad press but yet it didn't mentioned what Meghan's actions were to warrant bad press. It's a question of prudence and common sense, knowing from experience how difficult that environment is, it seems normal to me to begin a relationship gradually. It's not intelligent to pretend to be instant best buddy with someone you've just met and is just joining the family. Even because at that time her own position was a bit uncomfortable, not being Charles's wife yet, and not being as popular as she Is now. To show at that time her approval of Catherine could have meant to affect the girl with the negative mark of "friend to the mistress of the Heir".
