I have heard your group in person numerous times in the Hammond and Ponchatoula area and embraced the power of God that flowed through your song ministry every time. Mr. Joe Ligon is removed from the sand of times but he left a great legacy behind for us to always cherish. Keep singing Zion songs we enjoy them highly and we are still listening. How I miss this as a young girl I could remember going to see these artist. How they have had such a huge impact on many lives. These were the times when those church doors opened. You saw young people filled trying to be like a gospel singer or a drum, bass player. But it was such a wonderful wonderful experience to have sung and imitate the seeds these artist put in so many gospel artist then & today. RIP Mr. Joe🧡

This is Michael Cook. He joined some years after Paul Beasley s departure from the group, to embark on a solo career. Michael sung 1st tenor ; the same as Paul Beasley.
