The issue I take with the poaching of Adam Banks is that no-one asked Adam what he wanted, or seemed to care--neither his abusive coach & Dad, nor Bombay, nor the Hawks or the Ducks. This is the entire tragic problem of the Banksy character. He's been traumatised by pressure and expectation and emotional blackmail, plus he's not naturally assertive, and people exploit his gentle agreeable passive nature for their own gain.

I know your not supposed to read this far into it and enjoy the movies but the logic in each one is way out there. In the first movie a team who before Bombay became their coach had 0 wins. Now they are winning the peewee state hockey championship from a tram that has 1 loss in 20 year's Highly unlikely. I. D2 none of the absent players are acknowledged. The returning players are all over Minnesota but are magically in the same city to be recruited for team USA. In d3 the New players are scattered around the country. I seriously doubt she parents would allow their underage children to relocate so far away from home to play hockey for some preppy private school

I just liked this video and it went all the way from 69 to 69. Damn, I love KZbin. My biggest problems with this movie were always Josef Sommer's terribly-written heel turn and that I kept waiting for Joss Ackland to say, "I hate them. I hate the robot versions of them." That Oreo Line joke was racist, but back then it was also funny. It's funny now, you just can't openly admit it. But that's okay, because they'd get back at the other team by staging a hate crime hoax. That's not actually a joke. Jussie Smollett played Terry Hall in this film. _"He must really want to have sex with Charlie's mom."_ I had a pretty big crush on Heidi Kling. Lose the game and start fresh next year or Heidi Kling...hmm.
