Rewatching the first season because season 2 destroyed me. Wow… that’s continuity, I forgot Aziraphale was a magician in the kid’s birthday party, in season 2 they reveal that he attempted to be a magician too during the war. Those little details is what makes the show great.

There's huge regional and class variation on this within Britain but, broadly speaking, in the North "dinner" is lunch and "tea" is the evening meal, in the South there's some variation but in the Oxfordshire middle classes that we're dealing with here, "tea" is what kids have when they come home from school (normally a small snack, maybe a sandwich), the evening meal (or a formal meal eaten at any time of day except breakfast time) is "dinner" and it's supper that's eaten later if at all.
