In Serbia (Vojvodina /Vajdasag) in Novi Sad (Ujvidek) we used to have a fuselage of one hanging from a ceiling of a venue where we used to have gigs some 10 - 15 years ago.. I remember being a 15 zear old punk and I was up un the cockpit (as you could clunb up the stairs and go around the plane) and as I drank my bear, I threw the bottle and it hit some skinhead (a red, communist skinhead) , one crazy mofu**ka from the older crew .. He ran up all bloody to get to me and, luckily, there were some older Skins and Punks from his crew there who saved me from having my head kicked in.. But he did still break a bottle over my head a few years later, but not deliberate, we had a fight with Partizan hooligans and his bottle missed so it was karma, just delayed

He just gets payed by Russia today to talk shit about new US/NATO tech (the channel Lazerpig has some good videos on him and the rest of the so-called "fighter plane mafia"). Not to mention the F-35 won't need to enter a dogfight because it can just launch a missile 30 kilometers away.

but the main thing that had going for it was Russia peddling it at a low price with a whole Entourage of support&pilots* - and providing trained pilots to come in and train New pilots! some of these pilots even engaged in combat! as other pilots in the Korean war and Vietnam war had encountered Russians (you could tell by how good they were at flying and the fact that they were white people and not Asian (and wore different patches) *_not to mention our espionage department found this out_* (not to mention speaking Russian over radios*)

I always thought that the mig 21's wingspan was rather short, only 7+ meters overall (i personally would choose 10 or 12 meters for it's design) Yes I know this was to increase speed and such, But personally i rather choose turning radius and acrobatic maneuverability above speed (which you don't need because of the exceptionally powerful supersonic engine and delta wing design) Besides that, a wider wingspan will also increase fuel capacity and also operational range
