Any band that employs a full time dancer and credits him on the sleeve as "the bosstone" is a band I will always love and respect.

Bosstones shows were the best shows. we all went to bounce around and bump into everybody and dig that dude who really knew how to skank. nobody was there to get hurt or hurt anybody, just to have a great time, lose your friends in the crowd then meet up at the car. all today's younguns need to know: the 90's were the best time for live shows.

Can't wait for Trap-Ska or Drill-Ska to mix Bars and 808s with the Brass Section 😂. I only slightly jest, it's highly possible. Although I'd prefer and feel like Thrash would fit much better as a Genre Fusion. Imagine some sick Bars over some D-Beats🔥

Well he was fueled by a lack, drew inspiration from a need. So many problems to crack and mouths to feed. Crooked was the path, and brazen was the walk. A cocky swagger, up the ladder, and could he ever talk. The last hurrah? Nah! I'd do it again. The Rascal King behind the bars or the one in front of them. The love of God and constant contradictions, With a smile, wink, or nod. What's stranger, fact or fiction? And never ceasing to amaze me on a regular basis. First hand in his pocket or first fist into the faces. The last hurrah? Nah! I'd do it again. The Rascal King behind the bars or the one in front of them. A legendary character. When? Only then. Where? Only there. A hero or a hooligan? Well, that part's just never clear. Pride or shame, it's all the same. Who's innocent or who's to blame? Politics or just a game? Well in the end they knew his name. The last hurrah? Nah! I'd do it again. The Rascal King behind the bars or the one in front of them?

From 1991-1998 I drove a car that had no radio, cassette, CD... no music player of any kind. I enjoyed the silence. It was like being on a new musicless island for 8 years. The place I worked had classic country playing all the time. That was it. Now I'm finally getting caught up on the music of that period and I really like what I'm hearing.

I've loved ska for a long time, but in history class today our assignment (We were learning about James Michael Curley, the one the song is based on) was to make connections from this song to what we've been learning in class, let's just say that it made my day to talk about ska in class!

Man I’m really depressed but ska never fails to bring me up. Especially this song. “The last hoorah? Nah, I’d do it again!” I love this song so much

+badoocee Did you ever play "Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012" (1998, by the makers of Twisted Metal)? It had this song as part of the game.
