I've got a home for a 440 in my 94 ram 1500 short box. Plus I have a real turbo for it. Series 60 15L Detroit. It passes a little oil.

I have a 318 Mopar in my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has 240,000 miles now all I put was $500 into a timing chain and gear and all new gaskets on the engine everywhere I could put them besides head gaskets and that's all you need to do to keep an engine going good I love Mopar and I won't buy another car until this one absolutely dies. I know how to fix axles and everything else I've already done 85% of that already. Nothing sounds like a 318 Mopar nothing

I have to make a second comment because I see your starter you could fix for 10 bucks by putting a brush kid in it like I always do everything else I fix for cars for people just fix it man don't buy new one. You can save lots of money fixing stuff like starters with simple brush kits if the armature isn't burnt up. Either way Scotch brite pads will clean any brass surface right back to shine

you might remember if your old enough the full blown dragsters a driver named shirley modowney they had a box truck and would travel all over to the salvage yards buying up the motor homes 440s

man it sound so good but it baffle too much on the timing sound like it running a lil lean on the air/fuel. Great strong engine of the big block king the 440 V-8 the the V-8 that kick the 426 Hemi ass from 1969 1/2 to 1971.

My black Satellite has a 451 stroker big block so the 440 would be a step backwards. I'm building 340 for my Duster
