"You see, there's a positive gaussian curvature over here [proceeds to draw on spoon] and a negative one over here, and if you twist the handle and attach it to the paraboloid, you have a Möbius strip. Take another spoon and twist the handle in the opposite direction and add them together, and you have a Klein bottle, which is ABSOLUTELY NIFTY!"

this guy is _that weird scientist_ character that you might find in videogames or movies. he's SO that character lol replace the calculator with chemical compounds, magic or engineering contraptions... and you got your character.

Penny Lane Now, first of all I'm not "handing out" genius certificates. I'm just a random guy with a random opinion. Furthermore, this man is able to actually understand AND repair such old mechanical machines. I just think you need to be a bit clever to do that. Moreover, he makes money on selling freaking Klein bottles! KLEIN BOTTLES! Yes, you must be a genius to be able to make money of of that sort of thing.

The Raven I'm not saying he's not clever and I'm not even saying he's not a genius. I'm just saying that we've seen enough to see that he's quite intelligent but we haven't seen enough to call him a genius. That's my "random opinion" anyway ;)

+SoFZlodei24 Would be very nice^^ My suggestion for the score: Display: 9 - Actually a lot more digits than on most modern calculators. Functionality: 4 - Has basic arithmetic but a bit unhandy to use. Accuracy: 4 - We haven't seen something like (1/9)*9 but I think it would give 0.99...9 at best. Ergonomics: 10 - It has handles, it only weights 60 or 70 pounds, its smaller than a piano, what do you want more. Cred: 10 - Like the guy in the video said, you can't get cooler than that. Durability: 10 - Just look at how fast he is calculating, it also survived a fall from several centimeters.
@SoFZlodei24
@SoFZlodei24 8 жыл бұрын
+Wargon Well it is more durable than that. I will bet my money that it survives almost anything falling on it. And just imagine how screwed one's life would become if you accidentally drop this calculator on his foot. I would give 100 for such durability.
