I have this watch in steel… it’s the center of my collection. The RD78 Movement is incredible, but a little loud. What I love most about this watch… it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is… bold, in your face, love it or hate it. It’s the honey badger of luxury watches!

Looks like WatchFinder got a new lens! Really nice close(r) up views of this movement and crazy that your team has found new shots for a channel whose videography is usually consistent. Enjoyed the newer way you’ve shown this beautiful movement.

My dad would stop in Wempe on 5th, to browse or drop of a watch for service. He'd ask me, a teen, if anything new caught my eye. One did... a fine maker (can't recall) was having fun with elongated numbers, in a gently whimsical font. The salesman smiled, took it out, and asked my dad if the young man wanted to try it on. I did, but was a little shocked when they insisted I did. My gosh, other than play-wearing my dad's watches, this was my first new watch try-on. It was heavier than it looked, it's cost was as well. I've lost my youth and a lot of my eye for whimsy, but I can relate to this watch, yes.

Let alone the pilots and the real professional diver, others of us might not even reached the bottom of the swimming pool while wearing a sea dweller. Let’s not talk about the chronograph as almost 90% of us not owned a racing car or having a track day. I believe we will acquire the watch that feel right n looks gorgeous in our eyes. The watch will whisper to your ears saying that “I’m awesome n you knew it”. This careless whispers that’ll haunted one person to buy a Sub or a Daytona even you’ll only use it once in a blue moon. So in a conclusion, this watch is not talking to me..maybe someone else. Or maybe the whispers kind of “nah you not qualify to own me..move along” LOL. Well this rant is the result of wfh during this pandemic. Wish all of us safe from this covid and a bright happy day ahead. Good day gentleman.

I taught my daughter about speed of sound and light during a thunderstorm using a chronograph. calmed her fears of storms and sparked an interest in science. not what omega had in mind when they built it, but it came in useful, with not a rocket or racecar in sight.

Looking for watch suggestions - I need a dress watch, ideally under $150 but possibly up to $200 (including strap, if necessary). Needs to be 34-38mm. Not scared of quartz as long as there's no second hand but ideally manually wound. Looking for a stainless steel case (NO gold plate) and a white dial with blue hands, although that is negotiable. Timex Marlin would be perfect if the numerals didn't look so dated. Any suggestions? Im watching a Seiko 6600-7339u on ebay currently. If I dont get that, I like the look of the Islander isl-32 but I know nothing about the brand so that feels like kind of a gamble

i really enjoy the videos, what i don't enjoy is 2 30 second commercials a minute into the video then 2 more 30 second commercials one in front of a 5 minute commercial and the other right after it and 2 more 15 second commercials towards the end of a 10 minute video so i only watch until the long one then quit for something 3 minutes or less because they leave the commercials out until the end

That's a hard no. He should apply to the dial the same level of creativity that he does to the back of the watch. Because it's just day and night. And pushers are a big no-no. In my humble opinion.
