Doc and Darvin Ham still being there is the exact thing that should give you hope. The fact that they're over the 2nd Apron actually really restricts what kind of trades they would even be able to do with Giannis or Dame. If they want to make a big change, there really isn't anything to be done except changing the coaching staff. Look at the Lakers for an example of what the Bucks could be. Obviously it's an extremely short sample size so far but they look so much more organised and motivated with JJ Redick than they did with Ham. Honestly they look like a completely different team.

Allen Iverson dominated his role as captain of the Philadelphia 76ers. When neither franchise could make it work one sent the other to said franchise for success.
