The food was definitely the most authentic experience I had that day. I did marvel at all the grandeur up close in person but yes it did lack soul and humanity. Very much like a city sized show room.

That was my impression. It is just a gigantic outdoor showroom, a display of opulence and wealth. Every building's story is "we are rich so we built this". Not really any history or culture behind anything you see.

@@andrewflashchannelgibbs5384 Arabic cuisine knows how to handle lamb and sheep that's for sure. Soft as butter and so flavourful. The fish and hummus were fantastic too.

Not sure I'd want to live in a replica of Abu Dhabi although the lack of crime is certainly nice.
