When your consider the greatest at doing whatever it is your doing , they call you the Michael Jordan of “ your craft “ . Mj is the standard of greatness and winning . Multiple gold medals , multiple buzzer beaters on the brightest of stages . Undefeated in finals games with no game 7s . Legendary . The goat .

Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard. But, when you have both - it’s GAME OVER. MJ had BOTH! Most physically gifted guard ever & also the most fundamentally sound. Combined physical dominance with elegant skill. Everything was poetry.

People always want to bring Jordan down and how he won’t make it in today’s NBA. If he could play today and that was said to him he would take it personally and as a challenge and it would be game over cause he would prove why he is the greatest the goat and the measuring stick. And no one would come close to

The problem players who tried to be the next MJ is they tried to copy what they saw him do on the court. They lacked the mental part of Jordan's game. The excessive competitiveness. The desire to win at all costs. There is only one Michael Jordan, there can NEVER be another. Instead of trying to be him, players like Kobe and Lebron should have focused on being themselves. Being inspired by someone is not the same as physically trying to be them. MJ never wanted to be Julis Erving despite being compared to him. MJ was inspired by Dr. J and took that inspiration and used it to develop his own game. Eventually people stopped calling him the next Julis Erving. Michael Jordan was on a mission to be better than anyone considered the greatest of all time. He certainly was successful in doing that.

He can score at will, I can take a life at will. Who is more dangerous? Boxer or a basketball player. He revolutionized basketball, I'll revolutionize boxing. I can't play a sport that already has a excuse on why you are not greater than a particular player, that's not fair. It's not that he has more rings because of so, that would be bill Russell. It's not that he has more rebounds because if so, that would be rodman. It's not that he has more points because if so, that would be LeBron. Tell me, what is that makes him so great at this sport? His ego, that's it. Good for him. Keep basketball, I'll keep boxing.

no other player, i repeat, no other player has the competitive mindset of MJ. so when and if any player mock or tease or trash talk MJ, he will show them more and more of his greatness. the rest of the players are only for the contract. proof to that is the never-ending trade of players today to other teams. why? because that means higher and higher pay for him.
