Nice, concise tutorials. Just what's needed for a quick refresher. And I enjoy the Canadian accent to boot.

Very clear instructions. With a pleasant voice. I just got EQ 800 and rather than going through the written instructions I opted for the voice directions.

@@RelicDirtyhands Hello Laurie, I do still have a question. After turning the EQ on and after the wireless audio phones have been paired, how do you proceed? …Insert the audio headphones to the control pane…turn the EQ on, then…. Then ?? push the little round button on the head phones? I just can't seem to find info how the sequence works between turning the EQ on and the head phones going. What do you turn on first? Thank you Laurie.

Haha, so I'm searching for one of your videos on how to use the user profile, after watching another video of yours, and I hear you start talking about it on this video after autoplaying. I have/am learning so much about this machine from your videos. I truly appreciate it.

Really like it and want to get me one but it seems a little to complicated and how deep can it go
@RelicDirtyhands5 жыл бұрын
Alberto Chavez it May seem complicated but once you understand what the settings are for it’s a breeze.. the manufacturers default work extremely well.. I find myself using the defaults 80 percent of the time. I haven’t measured it’s depth but I’ve dug some deep holes lol. With many machines more depth usually means less target separation and vice versa. I like the equinox because you get to choose what settings that are most important to you. I’ve returned to my pounded sites of 10 years, the target separation was able to pick out items our previous machines couldn’t.. I’ve tried other machines but this one really suits my needs and sites.. oh and we deal with black mineral sand and EMI.. again this machine out performed my previous machines 😁

Great videos. I just won a Equinox 800. What settings do you use for park hunting?
@RelicDirtyhands5 жыл бұрын
Eddie Smith first time out I would use the default park one setting to get used to it. Then it can be adjusted to best suit you and your site.. I change my settings as I go.. I always use 50 tones, I adjust my recovery between 4-6, if you dig to many non aluminum bottles caps or iron you can increase your iron bias.. but seriously default settings are a great place to start.. park 2 finds the smaller items like fine gold.. to avoid iron and bottle caps F2 iron bias at 6 to 9 will do the trick.

I am new to all of this, and still learning, but when I do a long press to set back to factory settings, it turns off the machine, what am I doing wrong?
@RelicDirtyhands4 жыл бұрын
You do the long press to turn it on but keep holding the button down. It takes about 3 seconds after the power up. 👍

how to reset the machine should i press the button while the machine is on or off ?
@RelicDirtyhands2 жыл бұрын
When the machine is off, press and hold the power button, keep holding it even after it powers on, it should then start the reset. 👍
