Hi Mat, great video. I had a chat with Allen Uri of Fantastic Plastic. He makes some cool stuff (I built his Tremulis rocket). He defends resin as "a type of plastic".😆. This was a great history video. I hope to chat more in the future. I remember Silent Running. Filmed in a retired aircraft carrier. Be well and model on...Max. This is terrific. a great insights into the model kit hobby past and present, as well as Mat Irvine himself - a familiar name to anyone interested in sci-fi and/or visual effects growing up in the UK of the fabulous 1970s. I remember the 'swap shop' bits and the models of the various NASA spacecraft sitting on the table in front of Sir Patrick Moore, James Burke and others discussing the Apollo and Skylab missions.
