My favorite thing about Anders Lassen was how little he cared about the Military hierarchy in general. The brass used to complain about his after action reports...he just didn't care about glory or stories or anything. Famously one of his after action reports consisted only of the words "Landed. Killed Germans. Fucked off".

The best quote of the film is Anders Lassen: "I'm not leaving until I have a barrel full of Nazi hearts." Acording to the all the historical acounts and storys told about him years later he realy was such a badass.

I actually just finished one of the books this is based on and this is one of the crazier stories from it. But there are some other balls to the wall batshit crazy missions that happened during the War that England kept secret. I hope they make some of the others into films.

Fleming served as the personal assistant to Admiral Godfrey who headed Royal Navy intelligence. As such he was a liaison to other departments, including the SOE. Fun fact, Christopher Lee served a similar role with RAF intelligence.

I loved this movie when I saw it. Great reaction. HOW have you never seen Snatch or Lock Stock?? Snatch was just amazing back when it was new, introduced me to Jason Statham and all those Guy Ritchie fast cuts and edits.

Snatch is one of the coolest films ever made. So many great and colourful characters. I do enjoy Ritchie's films and along with Snatch also think The Gentlemen is right up there with it. The others are good as well, but those are the two that stand out the most for me. This film had Ritchie's classic blend of action and comedy and he always puts together a good soundtrack as well.

Saw it in theaters. It was a lot of fun. Made the mistake of going while ovulating 😂. The couple sitting near me, the wife looked like she was dragged to this movie… soon her and I were giggling and kicking our feet. So many handsome men being handsome 🤭

I went to go see this movie at the theater with one of my friends/coworkers over a month or so ago. I had such a blast watching it from start to finish. This movie had strong The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibes. The action sequences were great and I loved the humor. But I also liked the seriousness at times and the messages it was trying to convey. One of my favorite parts was the musical score and I’ve been listening to it a lot. Really liked the throwbacks to spaghetti westerns and swing jazz music. Such a fun movie man!

I say that Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is better by an inch. Snatch is more refined and smooth, but Lock Stock just drips with style and grainy low budget look adds so much.

I highly recommend Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen if you're looking to watch more of his stuff. It has a different pace than this one but it's one of my favorites (his King Arthur is also very good!) Loved the reaction, keep up the great work!

It doesn't line up with those, Video on Demand is more comparable to Pay Per View because it's before the movies are on DVD, CD, VHS, DVR, or DMV. You can't buy it physically yet.
